At MOCA Health, we separate the clinical side from the dispensing side to ensure patients receive both professional medical care and secure access to their medications.
On the clinical side, patients connect with independent practitioners who have completed MOCA’s structured training program in medical cannabis research, safe prescribing, and TGA compliance. Consultations are delivered through Halaxy, a secure telehealth platform that manages bookings, intake forms, and payments. During a 15-minute phone consultation, the doctor reviews medical history, discusses treatment options, and, if appropriate, initiates a prescription. The practitioner then applies to the TGA under the Special Access Scheme, with approvals usually processed within 24–48 hours. Follow-ups are booked online for treatment adjustments or renewals, with scripts valid for 6 months (THC) or 12 months (CBD).
Once approved, patients move to the dispensing side via MOCA’s secure portal, where they can review prescriptions, purchase medications, download resources, and manage repeats.
